A private, not-for-profit corporation, ONHWP administers the Ontario New Home Warranties Plan Act. This provincial legislation defines the extensive coverage offered to you by your builder/vendor and outlines the roles and responsibilities of new home builders and vendors. ONHWP receives no government funding and is financed entirely by builder registration, renewal and enrolment fees.
